Decent Chain restaurant food, good selection of Margarita drinks

Tried this spot already with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I love the great ambience and fresh food and beverages. They never disappoint.

My food was late coming out from curb side pickup. I order cheese and onion enchiladas, with the cheese not melted. My husband got chicken dish and it looked like it was reheated chicken.The flavor is still the same but would of hope the food came as it does when at the restaurant.

Had an amazing experience great customer service. I would recommend anybody to come here and look for Marc Anthony the best bartender ever.

I went at 6:30 on a Tuesday the place was dead. The food was not good, the guac was not fresh and the food was cold when it arrived. The waitress gave the worst service I’ve ever received. We had to ask her FIVE times for our drinks. We had to constantly ask her for refills, napkins, utensils and wouldn’t receive it until the 3rd or 4th time asking. I cant eat certain things and expressed it and she/or the cooks failed to make sure it was not added. Would not recommend.

Kat was the best server that i’ve had at on the border. she was detail oriented, kind, caring and super nice. She was great and deserved a big tip!!

Excellent service excellent food good prices I went there for outdoor dining for lunch and it was almost like eating indoor it was an extension of the restaurant which had balcony doors and open and tables near the windows better than eating under a tent you must check it out

Miguel, the bar manager, was not smart. My ID is a valid ID, he didn’t accept it because there was a whole in the ID. I use this everywhere I go, except here. Mark Anthony was a very professional waiter though.

Wanted to say thank you and hope you realize what a great employee you have in Rachel. I came in late (just before closing) after an earlier fail at another restaurant. Rachel was so welcoming (even as I’m sure she was ready to go home). Rachel never once hesitated and gave great recommendations( I had not eaten all day and was starving). on what I wanted and referred me to similar taste to what I wanted that was on the menu and didn’t rush me at all (I was worried as I knew I walked in shortly before close) food was good and came out as ordered (person who brought food brought an additional topping I wanted quickly) have to say was great after what I went through at earlier place. Please show your staff the appreciation they showed me. Only here in summer but will come back because of Rachel!! Awesome employee!! Warmest Regards,Tara Askey

The steak was so we'll seasoned

Food is always good, but the service is always better. The server Brittany is always a joy, and I have begun to specifically request her instead of hoping we were seated with her. Warm smile, genuine greeting, and accommodating! Gotta love her. Get the Carne Asade cooked medium!

Great service, but unfortunately the chips tastes metallic as though the oil hadn't been changed in a while.

This was 1/3 of the 3-sauce fajita burrito I ordered yesterday. It was absolutely terrible. It was clearly frozen and just reheated in a microwave as evidenced by the plate being very hot while the burrito was lukewarm. I'm no chef but I can make better tasting Mexican food than this. Here's some advice. Use fresh ingredients and make things ready to order. I will never come back to any on the border restaurant again.

Love this location! They always make me feel well taken care of. My son have food allergies and they are always willing to accommodate him. Just wish they would update their POS so they could take CC’s at the table. I visited a location in Kissimmee, Fl that had all new updates. Wish they could have them at this location.

Tasty food. The chicken enchiladas are great. The empanadas are pretty good as well.

We had a mysterious charge on our credit card from this location. We never went into eat, I thought the charge was fraudulent and it turned out it was. The restaurant manager was COMPLETELY useless when we asked for help. I had to get my card company involved. I would advise against ever going here. Management here does not care about you.

Upon entry and being seated took about 20 minutes for them to ask us what drinks we wanted. We got here at 1:30 and and we’re just leaving at 3:22 (waiting 20 minutes for the check). I am deeply dissatisfied with the service and overall food. The food doesn’t look like the pictures at all i put an example down below that’s supposed to be the Rancholada. The guacamole live was fresh but flavorless. The food did not meet expectations although it was not inedible it was bland. Even though the service was poor it was not the waitresses fault the restaurant seems to be understaffed. I still won’t be coming back here.

This location has went extremely downhill years back are used to go here and it was great the food was always fresh came out hot fast service in the restaurant was always full of people eating and sometimes you have to wait to get a table. But for some reason I recently visited here and I was blown away. It seems they haven’t even dusted the place since I was last there place is very dirty not well-kept although they do have a lot of people working there and definitely everyone should pitch in to keep this place clean. The food also was not good the rice is very dry the meat was very season less and the cheese just tasted kind of funky it really was a shame because this place used to be really great.

This is an average Mexican restaurant for the price and quality of food. They always have good deals but there food seems to be lacking on flavor recently. Overall, not bad for a $13 meal!

Amazing place for a late dinner with friends

The place could use an update but the food was good, quick service and decent prices...came back a couple months after my first review. Not as good at all. Waiter was terrible. Got my order wrong and never fixed it. Food was not hot and steak was chewy. I am still waiting for him to come back to our table. We finished our food 10 minutes ago. I will go to Margaritas or Jose Tejas instead. Never again

Our waitress, Brittany, was AWESOME! Super friendly, humorous, and efficient. We came for lunch and she made recommendations since I hadn't been here in years. She constantly checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything and even though she was busy, she still took the time to make sure we felt welcome and enjoyed our time there. The drink was super strong and we smiled our whole visit. The food was incredible. We will definitely be back ASAP!

Meh, very premade taste food. A few steps above fast food. But a step under Chevy's . Prices we're a little high and the plates were very small.most of the drinks are filled with sugar and not that much alcohol but that's to be expected at a restaurant like this. can't really say anything bad happened at nice Teddy everything came the way we ordered and the service was good

I celebrated my nomination last night in this fine place. I am glad to say that it was a enjoyable evening and the venue was no doubt one of the reasons for this outstanding meeting. The team participated in a gorgeous way, the meals were extremely good and my guests were extremely glad. We shall definitely return for more events. thanks very much.

Extremely poor service at the bar. Only three customers. A second bartender arrived and he was was attentive.

I’m a long time loyal customer. My family love this restaurant. The food is good and affordable, compare to other places. I recommend you to ask for Marc Anthony, he’s an excellent waiter, very friendly and professional. He goes above and beyond to make sure you’re a satisfied customer. I love their chicken fajita, soft tacos, watermelon margaritas is my fav and the brownie Sunday.

The service is on point and constant. Also, The steak has an awesome Chardness from the grill with good amount of seasoning.

We love this place being vegetarian lots of option to choose from and grilled avocado enchiladas are must try.

Wasn't sure what I wanted to eat and my girlfriend suggested this place. Looks ok but what to me made it 4 stars was the kind service, fast but well prepared food, and good taste of the ultimate fajita (which I ordered). Overall, I left feeling pretty satisfied and happy.

I'm giving it 2 stars bc at least my beer was cold and the service was quick. Buuuut that's it!! I ordered the taco salad. Lettuce was NOT fresh and they didn't even drain the lettuce before putting it on my plate. Just a sloppy, soggy mess. The lettuce was brownish too. My mom ordered the soup and it came with 2 tiny slices of sad avocado. They bought her out 3 more tiny slices that were Brown. Just gross. We never paid so fast in our life. This is why I don't do chain restaurants. the place was clean and the waitress was attentive. Thanks for that.

Came here two months ago and the service was incredibly slow. The waitress we had was so kind and great at her job. But she was working in multiple areas at a busy time which leads me to believe there may be not enough hands on deck. My Husband and I got seated immediately but it took over 15 minutes to be approached before we could even get an order for drinks in. It took a while also to get our food out too. Maybe I just came on a bad day though.

The place offers a vast range of delicious food. I like eating here. Employees are always super friendly, prices are fair and the place is always well organised.

The chips and salsa kept coming. Our waitress was very patient, accommodating and pleasant. Our son has severe allergies... the manager came out, spoke with us and made our little boy (& us) very happy. Food was amazing! We left so full and feeling good. Our experience was as good as, if not better than, some places in Disney. Only down side was the lights were not working on a portion of the "On the Border" sign so we almost passed it on the highway. Don't pass it up!!

The menu and service were above our expectations. I really liked the ambience of this place. Amazing spot to take the family out for lunch.

Had a great meal with my family tonight. My servers name was Lucy and she was outstanding. When she was preparing the guacamole live for all of us she started making jokes as a form of entertainment. The chicken fajitas, avocado fries, and the big burrito came out amazing! I definitely recommend this place for everyone to bring their families for dinner!

Ok let me just say that I was blown away with how absolutely amazing the service here is. The waitress we had was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Food was good and brought out at a good pace. I’m a huge fan of Mexican food, and I’ve had great stuff growing up in Arizona. Usually I have always said Arizona is only better than NJ when it comes to Mexican food, but this place broke that rule for the first time. 5/5 Fantastic!

Went here for a mini family celebration and was supposed to have a good meal. Instead, steak had to be sent back twice due to the fact it was undercooked. No manager came to the table to speak to us, but the waiter stated the manger would remove the item off the bill. We recieved the bill and only a partial amount of the item was taken off, they technically charged us for the rice and beans on the plate. In addition to all this, the all you can eat tacos took close to 30 min for each order placed and we never recieved rice and beans with the order. At this point we were fed up and just wanted to leave. Very unprofessional of the manager and disappointed with their customer service.

Amazing service, great food and cozy environment.

We do not regularly come to 'On The Border', but they were having a BOHO special, of by one entree get one 1/2 off. The chips and salsa were good as normal. The service was okay. There were what seem to be two floor managers or charge people walking around making sure everything was okay. So why the one star? Because as our meal was ending we saw a roach in our booth. We called one of the charge people over to show her and she nonchalantly said "oh it's a beetle, hand me a napkin and killed it and picked it up and walked away". Beetle. Nah! I've seen beetles before and roaches and this definitely looked like a roach. Smdh. As we were leaving the restaurant I noticed the flooring had a lot of crumbs, so not surprised there were ROACHES and not beetles there. Pictures included. You decide.

Great food. Our waitress was personable and the drinks were icy cold. Good plant based selection too.
